Final year electives

We have already started developing a number of electives, the purpose of which is to allow a greater depth of study in an area chosen by individual students. One of these will be available on the control of infectious disease. The elective will be undertaken during a six-week period involving the last three weeks of the 2nd term of the final year and the first three weeks of the 3rd term. In addition, the Easter vacation would be made available for the research. The electives will be based in one of the laboratories of the Bristol-led consortium within this proposal.
