^ Undergraduate vacation scholarships

So as to enthuse those undergraduates who are interested in research but unsure about taking a whole year out to intercalate, we will offer four annual undergraduate vacation scholarships. Scholarships lasting at least six to eight weeks will be offered competitively. These vacation awards will be based in any of the institutes collaborating in this initiative. At Bristol these periods of research training are counted towards the mandatory RCVS 26 week EMS requirements so as to positively encourage students to consider a research career.
